Terms of Service


1. Overview

By placing an order with Studio Hoya, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms apply to all purchases made during the 2026 Yamaha Australian National Band Championships (“Nationals”).


2. Products & Services

Studio Hoya provides:

  • Band group photographs (print and/or digital)
  • Individual portrait photographs (print and optional digital add-ons)


All products are made to order.


3. Ordering
  • Orders are placed online via Studio Hoya's website.
  • Full payment is required at the time of purchase.
  • Please ensure all order details are correct before completing your purchase.


4. Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.


Current pricing includes:

  • Band Photo Print (8×12"): $18
  • Individual Portrait Print (5×7"): $12
  • Bundle (Band Photo + Portrait): $25
  • Band Digital Image (High Resolution): $199


Prices are subject to change.


5. Delivery
  • Estimated delivery timeframe: 4–6 weeks after the event.
  • Prints will be produced and dispatched after Nationals concludes.
  • Delivery times may vary depending on production and shipping factors outside of our control.


6. Digital Images
  • Digital images are delivered as high-resolution JPEG files.
  • For band images, one purchase per band is sufficient, and sharing within the band is encouraged.
  • Digital files must not be resold, licensed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Studio Hoya.


7. Photography at the Event
  • Band photos are scheduled approximately 20 minutes after each band’s performance.
  • It is the responsibility of each band to attend their allocated time slot.
  • Studio Hoya is not responsible for missed photos due to late or non-attendance.


8. Image Style & Quality
  • By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept the artistic style and composition of Studio Hoya’s work.
  • Minor variations in lighting, posing, and composition may occur due to time constraints and event conditions.


9. Refunds & Returns
  • Due to the custom nature of photographic products, all sales are final.
  • Refunds will not be issued for:
  • Change of mind
  • Failure to attend scheduled photo time
  • In the unlikely event of a production fault or error, notification must be made within 7 days of receiving the order.


10. Event Limitations

Studio Hoya is not liable for:

  • Delays caused by event scheduling changes
  • Missed images due to participant absence
  • Technical issues beyond reasonable control (including equipment failure or environmental conditions)


In the rare case that a photo cannot be delivered due to technical failure, liability is limited to a refund of the amount paid for that product.


11. Copyright & Usage
  • All images remain the copyright of Studio Hoya.
  • Purchasing a print or digital image grants a personal-use licence only.


You may:

  • Share images with band members
  • Post images on social media for personal use


You may not:

  • Sell or license the images
  • Use images for commercial, promotional, or advertising purposes
  • Edit, alter, or apply filters that misrepresent the original work


Any commercial use requires prior written permission from Studio Hoya.


12. Promotional Use

Studio Hoya may use images for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes.


If you prefer your image not to be used, you must notify Studio Hoya in writing prior to or shortly after the event.
